Mix 96 – Best Free Activities in Sacramento

by Mike Barlow on December 22, 2009

Mix 96 and Sacramento Magazine have posted a list of the 96 best free activities in Sacramento.  The Trailmix.Net Old Sacramento Scavenger Hunt came in at a respectable number 7.

#7 is the Old Sacramento Scavenger Hunt

I know, I know… earlier in the year we boasted that the Old Sacramento Scavenger Hunt is  THE BEST free activity in Sacramento.  So we were just a little bit off….

However, coming in at number 7 out of 96 allows us to say that the Old Sacramento Scavenger Hunt has been independently verified to be the the top 93.2% of free things to do in Sacramento.  No small feat in a city with Carnivals of Light, a Zoo, Artwalks, Fairy Tale Land, free museums, and more.

As we go into 2010, we’re going to figure out how we can move up to that number one spot.  We’re starting right now by adding another Sugarbowl lift ticket to the treasure box.  First one to claim it becomes the new owner.

By the way, you can download a free copy of the Old Sacramento Scavenger Hunt here.

Wondering if the Old Sacramento Treasure Hunt is an ongoing thing – will it be available during the year? (I am posting it for Scout leaders in the area, and need to know how long it will be available)

Thanks!
