Meet Mike Graf:  Author of Over 65 Different Children’s Science and Adventure Books

mikegraf2The Trailmix.Net Old Sacramento Store will be hosting a meet-the-author event on Saturday, December 19th from 1:00-3:00.  The free event will feature Mike Graf, award winning author of over 65 different children’s science and adventure books.

Mike Graf is a teacher, former consultant to the Weather Channel, former weathercaster for KHSL-TV in Chico, and author of several science and outdoor books including the popular Adventures with the Parkers children’s series.

Graf has shared his writing, as well as his weather and national park experiences, with children and teachers in hundreds of schools.  He has been a TV weathercaster at six different television stations and an elementary schoolteacher for nine years.  A national park fanatic, Graf visits about twenty-five national parks across the country every year.

Mike currently has over 65 published works in print, many of which have earned acclaim from educators:

What a great opportunity to meet an author with such a dynamic and inspiring backgrpound. I wil try and make it out on the 19th. Love this blog…very well done and user friendly.
